During oil and gas drilling and workover operations, casing heads and crosses can suffer from wear and tear, leading to equipment damage or failure. The wear bushing is designed to protect these components.
It is installed and removed with a running/retrieving tool, preventing damage to the sealing surfaces. The wear bushing comes in standard sizes ranging from 7-1/16 inches to 21-1/4 inches and is made from AISI 4130 alloy steel.
Custom sizes and materials are also available on request. Besides wear bushings, we also produce other wellhead service tools, like wear bushing running/retrieving tools, test plug combination tools, H-type back pressure valves, VR plugs, and API-6A flanges.
