Our core drill bits are specially designed to efficiently obtain core samples from underground formations. They use a variety of cutting elements, including carbide, polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC), and natural diamond. These bits deliver fast drilling rates and high footage in soft to medium-hard formations, making them ideal for geological exploration, mining, and oil and gas drilling.
Based in the Southwest, a region known for significantly contributing to land-based drilling, we leverage local manufacturing expertise to supply high-quality, API-compliant core drill bits at competitive prices. Our core drill bits provide a cost-effective alternative to more expensive Western brands while meeting international standards.
What is a Core Drill Bit?
Core drill bits are used to extract rock core samples during drilling. The core obtained allows for detailed analysis of the formation’s geological structure, rock properties, mineral composition, and hydrocarbon content. As the bit rotates, cutting elements crush the rock, and the drilling fluid carries out the cuttings while the intact core remains inside the core barrel for later retrieval.
